Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains how SIA SerpCtrl (reg. nr. 40203002129, registered office Blaumaņa iela 5a, 3. stāvs, Rīga, LV-1011, Latvia; "we" or "SerpCtrl") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit serpctrl.lv or serpctrl.com (the "site") or contact us.

Data controller

SIA SerpCtrl is the data controller. Send questions about this policy or about how we process your data to info​@​serpctrl.lv.

What we collect

• Contact data: name, email, phone, and message content when you submit the contact form or email us.
• Subscription data: your email address and consent record if you sign up for our newsletter.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page — used for site security and anonymized analytics.

Why we collect it

• To respond to your enquiries (pre-contractual measures, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• To send the newsletter if you've subscribed (consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
• To keep the site running and protect it from abuse (legitimate interests, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Retention

Contact-form messages are kept for up to 24 months. Subscriber records are kept until you withdraw consent — every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. Technical logs are kept for no longer than 90 days.

Processors

We use the following sub-processors (all in the European Economic Area or processing data under Standard Contractual Clauses):

• Vercel — site hosting.
• Sanity — content management system.
• Neon — contact-request and newsletter-subscription storage.
• Resend — email delivery.

Cookies

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The site may set functional cookies only (e.g. to remember language preference); these don't require separate consent.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and you can object to processing. If you have concerns about how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (www.dvi.gov.lv) or your local supervisory authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page reflects the latest version.
